This coffee is grown between 1400 – 1830 MASL in rich red volcanic soils with around 1,100 mm rainfall annually. Kasinga has a fly crop between June/August.
Cherries are handpicked and delivered the same day to the mill for processing where the any under or over ripe beans are removed. After wet processing, the beans are sundried on the classical Kenyan raised drying beds. Following the drying, coffee is taken to the dry mill for secondary and final processing before being packed for export.
